Bank holiday predicted to be a washout

A BANK holiday deluge will dump more rain on Scotland today than the country saw in the whole of last month.

The RAC had predicted the busiest holiday weekend for five years but beauty spots and coastal resorts are likely to be deserted today due to appalling conditions for the start of May.
