Slavia: Gers tried to get us Euro axe

SLAVIA PRAGUE president Jaroslav Tvrdik has claimed Rangers tried to get them booted out of the Europa League after Glen Kamara was racially abused.

Czech stopper Ondrej Kudela was banned for 10 games by UEFA after he was found guilty of abusing the midfielder at Ibrox. He has since appealed.

Tvrdik said: “Rangers worked hard to try and get us thrown out the Europa League from the very start.

“The fact they’ve still not apologised to Ondrej Kolar for his injuries says more about them than us. We got incredible support in the Czech Republic but we’re extremely unpopular now in the UK.”
