Green light for three new drugs
THREE new drugs, including two used to treat cancer, have been approved in Scotland.
Pembrolizumab (Keytruda) and Selpercatinib (Retsevmo) will be used to treat colon and rectum cancer and rare thyroid cancers, according to the Scottish Medicines Consortium, which advises NHS Scotland on newly licensed drugs.
Filgotinib (Jyseleca) has been approved to treat severe rheumatoid arthritis.
