Future jobs are flexible
WORKERS who do not need to be physically present in their job will never return to the office in the same way as before the pandemic, a leading recruitment firm has predicted.
Adecco Group research suggests half of UK employees are happier following the changes to working life in the last 12 months, although just over a third believe their mental wellbeing has worsened.
Almost two in five believe productivity has got better.
Adecco chief executive Alain Dehaze said: “For those not bound to being physically present to perform their work, it is obvious we will never return to the office in the same way and that the future of work is flexible.”
