Alice Cooper to headline Scottish gig

- BY TOM HORTON

ROCK legends Alice Cooper and The Cult are heading to Scotland next year.

US star Cooper, 73, and the British band will play The SSE Hydro in Glasgow as part of a six-date UK tour next May and June.

Fans can expect “a dark, twisted trip through goth, psychedelia, macabre theatre and straight up rock anthems when these two giants take to the stage”.

Earlier this year Cooper’s album Detroit Stories peaked at number four in the UK album chart.

The Cult last released an album in 2016 with Hidden City, which peaked at 19 in the chart.

They will also perform at the Swansea Arena, The O2 in London, Manchester’s AO Arena, Resorts World Arena in Birmingham and Leeds’ First Direct Arena.
