SHE’S the only Scot in this year’s Strictly line-up, thanks to her dad’s roots. Tilly Ramsay, 19, the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon, will sashay on to our screens when the show airs again on Saturday.
And while most of us know about her dad’s fiery personality and penchant for a swear word, many won’t know much about his youngest girl. So what’s it like in Tilly’s World?
APPLE OF DAD’S EYE
There’s no doubt that Tilly is close to her dad and she shares his passion for cooking too. In a Father’s Day post, she wrote on Instagram: “I couldn’t ask for a better dad and best friend...I don’t know where I’d be without you.” And in an emotional video message this week ahead of Strictly airing, Gordon said: “Wishing you all the very best. Proud of you, girl.”
SIBLINGS
Tilly is one of the five Ramsay kids. There’s Megan, 23, twins Holly and Jack, 21, and baby brother Oscar, 2.
Megan is a recent graduate who works in PR, Jack joined the Royal Marines and Holly is a model and does podcasts.
TV APPEARANCES
Tilly is no stranger to TV and first appeared on screen with her dad when she was four on his show The F Word. She has appeared on Master Chef Junior and even hosted her own show, Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, on CBBC.
And she’s been on dad’s show Hell’s Kitchen, This Morning and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
CELEBRITY PALS
The Ramsays are friends with the Beckhams and the offspring are often pictured on holiday together and comment on each other’s social media posts.
Cruz Beckham appeared on her cooking show and Tilly has posted snaps of her and Cruz and Romeo snorkelling on holiday.
LOVE LIFE
She was recently rumoured to be dating Gino D’Acampo’s son, Luciano. In October 2019, Gordon hinted that Tilly had grown close to Luciano after their dads bonded filming TV show Men Behaving Badly.
TIK TOK
Tilly – who has 9.5million followers – and her dad often share videos and recently participated in the “This or That Challenge” which revealed she prefers mum Tana’s cooking to Gordon’s. The video has had more than 39million views.
