Body found in park is missing Paul

THE body of missing Paul McMullen has been found by police.

Officers made the grim discovery at about 9.10am yesterday at Drumpellier Park, Coatbridge.

Paul’s family have been informed and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding this death, police said.

An urgent search was launched to find Paul, 40, after he was reported missing from Coatbridge.

He was last seen on Sunday at 12.20pm in the Lanarkshire town’s Burleigh Street.

He left in his black Vauxhall Insignia and failed to return home.
