Court sees pictures of Epstein massage room
PICTURES of Jeffrey Epstein’s New York home – where Prince Andrew once stayed – show a massage room where prosecutors claim the financier sexually abused a young girl.
The photos, taken not long before the billionaire killed himself in jail, were shown at the trial of his alleged “madam” Ghislaine Maxwell, who is accused of sexually abusing and grooming four girls.
Other images, taken from his home in Palm Beach, showed Maxwell and Epstein kissing and one of her in a bikini on a boat.
The pictures emerged as a second Maxwell accuser testified that she visited Epstein’s Florida home more than 100 times between the ages of 14 and 18. Carolyn, going by only her first name, told jurors yesterday she was introduced to Maxwell when she was 14 and went to his Palm Beach mansion where she massaged him.
She said: “Maxwell came in and felt my boobs. She told me I had a great body for Mr Epstein and his friends.”
She claimed Maxwell “took pictures of me nude” and photographed “the stuff with Epstein”. The alleged victim said Maxwell “took off her clothes” leaving her in her bra and underwear. Carolyn said Prince Andrew sex accuser Virginia Giuffre was also there and introduced her to Epstein.
“After massaging his back, Epstein turned over, and Epstein and Virginia started having sex,” she said, adding that she earned $300 (£226).
Asked why she kept going back to Epstein’s home, Carolyn said she was young and “$300 was a lot of money.” Carolyn told how Maxwell, 59, would call her to ask if she would be available when Epstein flew in.
Carolyn said she stopped visiting when she became “too old” at the age of 18,
FBI analyst Kimberly Meder testified about Epstein’s safe at his Manhattan townhouse where hundreds of images of nude underage girls were found. Prince Andrew stayed there briefly in 2010 and said it was to break off his friendship with Epstein.
Maxwell denies six offences and is also alleged to have lied under oath by hiding her participation in Epstein’s offences during a separate civil case. If convicted of all charges she faces up to 80 years in prison.
Epstein killed himself in August 2019 while in jail charged with child sex offences. The trial continues.
