Smugglers did the castle a flavour...
Sweets, salt and pepper were taken into camp
KADEENA Cox has revealed how contestants sneaked sweets and salt and pepper into the I’m A Celebrity camp.
Reports last week suggested they had treats taken off them when they went back into Gwrych Castle after being evacuated due to Storm Arwen.
But Kadeena said some items had been smuggled in following their challenging stay in cottages.
She said: “I had my Percy Pigs, giant strawbs, and I was like, ‘I’m gonna need some sugar in there’.”
Asked if her sweets were all confiscated, Kadeena replied: “I definitely had another pocketful, don’t you worry.”
She said she was able to give
Arlene Phillips a pick-me-up and all the campmates could use salt and pepper for meals, dubbing it “fairy dust”.
The paralympic gold medallist, 30, also spoke about scenes not being screened due to her MS when she slurred her words and needed help moving around.
But Kadeena’s fellow celebs helped her avoid thoughts of having to quit the hit ITV series.
The talented sprinter and paracyclist believed her MS would not have been as bad on the show as she was not training but she still suffered fatigue and spasms.
Kadeena said: “There were times when campmates had to help me go to bed and help me go to the toilet. So it was tougher than I ever expected.”
She said she was able to realise how strong her bond was with contestants during her vulnerable moments.
Kadeena, who won Celebrity Masterchef earlier this year, was also seen having arguments with Naughty Boy about how to cook rice and beans in camp.
But she insisted when they were both out in the real world they will be friends.
Kadeena added TV presenter Louise Minchin should be crowned Queen of the Castle, as she “has been the mother for all of us and looked after all of us”.
Last night Snoochie became the third celeb to get the boot.
