Why silence is golden for dancer Rose
STRICTLY Come Dancing has won an award for Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice’s silent dance.
Heat Magazine named their performance to Symphony by Clean Bandit – when they danced in silence for 10 seconds – as the Unmissable TV Moment.
EastEnder Rose, 27, made history as the first deaf contestant on Strictly and has become a fan favourite.
After receiving the good news, Giovanni told Heat: “This dance meant so much to us and we are so proud that we could show a glimpse into Rose’s world and represent the deaf community in this way.
“We will both remember this “unmissable moment” forever.”
