CARRIE, Miranda and Charlotte are back with varying degrees of facial reconstruction and industrial-strength hair colouring. Miranda going white could be an early storyline.
Many of the original male characters have also returned. Big (Chris Noth) and Aidan (John Corbett) are on the scene, pointing to spicy plotlines for Carrie.
A grizzled David Eigenberg is back as Miranda’s baby daddy Steve Brady. Evan Handler is also back as Charlotte’s husband Harry. Having a shaved head, he is one of the few characters to look exactly the same as when we last saw him.
Charlotte’s bitchy gay friend Anthony Marentino (Mario Cantone), is not only back but he is now invited to the girly brunch.
The presence of Big’s ex, Natasha (Bridget Moynahan), suggests that all might not be rosy in Carrie’s magnificent uptown shoe closet.
