Hearn: Fallon needs to be good as gold

NEW darts godfather Eddie Hearn wants “golden ticket” Fallon Sherrock to feature in next year’s Premier League – but challenged her to prove she deserves it.

Sherrock opens her World Championship campaign at Ally Pally against Steve Beaton a week on Sunday.

If she repeats her 2019 run to the third round, the Queen of the Palace looks sure to join the 17-week travelling circus.

Hearn, now PDC chairman, said: “I see the golden ticket for darts but you have to allow people to be there on merit.”
