This man is a danger to women & I want to warn them

who asked not to be identified, said: “He is trying to paint himself as a successful banker in a privileged position of being on sabbatical for a year while focusing on opening a bar, renovating a house abroad and looking for a family-orientated woman to take on lavish holidays.

“This man is a danger to women and I wanted to warn them to be on the lookout. His profile picture is clearly old as it is nothing like him in recent court appearances.” Another woman told how she had a narrow escape when Meade contacted her on dating app Tinder and arranged a date. She said: “We arranged a date and I was really looking forward to it but then the day before, he just ghosted me. These things happen so I kind of forgot about him until I saw his face in the paper. “Dating apps should be doing all they can to make sure domestic abusers and other criminals cannot just assume any identity they want on those platforms.” A trial at Perth Sheriff Court was told that Meade had falsely used the dance teacher’s details to spend £4000, treating himself to mobile phones and other items online. Meade repeatedly turned up at Perth Theatre, Perth High School and other places his ex worked and made malicious allegations about her to employers.

The sheriff found him guilty of repeatedly turning up uninvited at her workplaces, following her on numerous occasions, and threatening to remove her son. He was also convicted of fraud after opening an account in his former girlfriend’s name with online retailer Very and buying mobile phones and equipment on credit between October 2017 and July 2019.

Meade, of Perth, was made subject to a non-harassment order, which prevents him approaching or contacting his ex-partner for two years.

At Alloa Sheriff Court in November, he was ordered to carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work in the community.

When contacted by the Daily Record, Meade acknowledged his identity but hung up when our reporter asked why he was failing to disclose his offences to women he was meeting on Bumble.
