LORRAINE Kelly has revealed her most embarrassing live TV moment was accidentally flashing at British boy band The Wanted.

The chat show host was left mortified when a button popped off her dress while she was interviewing the group on her self-titled ITV programme.

The Scots presenter has revealed that the incident in November was caused by her breasts getting bigger during lockdown.

Lorraine, 62, said she had overindulged in food, and all the weight gain had gone to her bust – leaving her struggling to fit into dresses.

She picked the wardrobe malfunction as her “worst live TV moment” in an appearance on BBC Radio Scotland show The Good, The Bad and The Unexpected.

She said: “I have been eating like a piglet all through the whole Covid thing and all the weight has gone on my boobs, which my husband is absolutely delighted about.

“I’m having to pin all my dresses when I put them on and I forgot to do it that morning.

“I sat down and was chatting away to these beautiful young boys from The Wanted and my button just came off and nearly hit one of them in the eye. It came off and there I was. Those wee boys don’t need that – nobody needs that, to be honest with you.”

She told the pop stars: “Listen, I’m so sorry. My top button popped with excitement.”

Lorraine said another awkward moment occurred when her mobile phone number was accidentally revealed on screen.

She welcomed her pet pooch, Angus, on to her show in February 2020 and as he sat calmly on her lap, the cameras zoomed in on the pup.

Angus’s dog collar was showing, including Lorraine’s contact details, but she said she didn’t receive one phone call.

She said: “That was unfortunate. We had forgotten to take his wee collar off so my mobile phone number went up.

“Nobody phoned. It was on the telly and still nobody phoned me. Nobody ever phones me.”
