MONDAY JURY

SHOULD Celtic request Premiership postponements if three or more players are on World Cup duty?

-

No. Ange Postecoglou says he won’t be getting the violins out if he’s missing players so Celtic simply have to get on with it. The fixture list is rammed already.

Half a million seems like the kind of number that would make sense for all parties.

Who knows? Griffiths has all the talent in the world but his attitude makes him a liability. He’s becoming almost too toxic to touch.

Not just Celtic, any club. If the rules say it can be done, why would you not?

Hard to put a figure on. Much will depend on where Robbie Neilson sees Souttar’s mindset in the coming days.

Griffiths started out as a 16-year-old at Livingston and, with 16 goals in 20 Premiership games, the Lions need more goals. Career full circle.

It’s within the rules and the stakes are higher than perhaps ever before in this title race with Champions League group stage qualification for the champions so I would say yes.

It depends how much importance Hearts place on Souttar in their quest for European football which could be worth more in the long run than even a £500,000 January fee. I’d be amazed to see them let him go this month for less than that.

I thought his old club Dundee and old pal James McPake would be the perfect fit to kick-start his career. It’s not worked out and I can see Griffiths dropping into the Championship. Whether he returns to top level football is down to him.

The more you look at it the more it would seem like a bad idea to bounce three games down the road. Celtic don’t want to be left playing catch up and they have a huge squad. It might be best to get on with it.

WHAT figure should Hearts accept to let John Souttar move to Rangers in this transfer window?

If they can get £500,000 they will be doing well as Rangers hold all the aces. They are under no pressure to buy but Hearts will be left with a player with one foot out of the door.

It doesn’t look great for Griff after failing to do the business for his pal James McPake at Dundee. There might be an experienced gaffer out there who can whip him in to shape again. Perhaps Ian McCall at Thistle?
