Hip hop DJ off air after sex claims
RAP DJ Tim Westwood has stepped down from his show on Capital Xtra after allegations of sexual misconduct.
The former Radio 1 presenter is accused by seven women who were in their late teens or early 20s at the time.
Three claimed the DJ engaged in predatory behaviour, while four allege they were groped by him at events, according to the Guardian.
He hosts a Saturday night show on Capital Xtra.
A station spokesperson said: “Following the claims that have recently come to light, Tim Westwood has stepped down from his show until further notice.”
A representative for Westwood said he “strongly rejects all allegations of wrongdoing”.
