Taking small brands to the wider public has always been part of Aldi’s ongoing commitment to new producers and to the Scottish beer industry.

The supermarket currently works with 90 Scottish suppliers sourcing more than 450 Scottish products, including breweries right across Scotland – from the Isle of Skye Brewing Co. to Broughton Ales in south Lanarkshire.

Also, look out for offerings from The Orkney Brewery, housed in a former schoolhouse one mile from Skara Brae in the heart of Neolithic Orkney.

Make sure you try

Dragonhead Stout, brimming over with rich roast malt and roast barley flavours, it’s their tribute to the Vikings and their cultural legacy in Orkney.

You’ll also be able to try their zesty IPA Cliff Edge, with an intense impact of piney and spicy fruit flavours, the perfect complement to very spicy dishes such as curry or chilli.
