Carson to be Buddies No.1

ST MIRREN will sign keeper Trevor Carson from Dundee United this summer.

Manager Stephen Robinson has already had the experienced Northern Ireland goalie at Motherwell and then took him on loan to Morecambe earlier in this campaign.

Carson is set to agree terms after he returns to United when his Morecambe loan ends.

The Buddies, who will pay a nominal fee, have been looking for a No.1 since Jak Alnwick snubbed a new deal.
