BY SCOTT BURNS ST PAULI could battle Hearts and Aberdeen to land Connor Ronan this summer.
The German side are pushing for promotion to the Bundesliga and have registered an interest in the Wolves midfielder. The Republic of Ireland international has done well on loan at St Mirren and that has led to growing interest.
If St Pauli can get up to the German top flight then that could be a major lure for the 24-year-old.
Ronan is keen to get the chance to break into the Wolves first team and if that means going out on loan again next season then he knows he has to play at the highest level he can.
Aberdeen boss Jim Goodwin has already made advances and Hearts are also keen.
