Mood lifting at McDiarmid

-

ST JOHNSTONE boss Callum Davidson admits the mood at McDiarmid Park has been transformed.

The Perth side endured a tortuous spell before the January break but have now hauled themselves off the foot of the Premiership.

A win over a 10th-placed St Mirren tomorrow would cut the Buddies’ advantage to two points in the bid to escape the play-off spot.

Davidson said: “We know we’re competing on level terms with everybody now.

“Coming back shows character. It’s all positives compared with where we were in December.

“Hopefully we’ll take the lead against St Mirren and keep the pressure on them.”
