Nice two from Cyriel

FEYENOORD take a narrow lead to the south of France next week after an entertaining Europa Conference League semifinal first leg.

It was a frantic first half at De Kuip as the Dutch side scored two goals in two minutes to forge an early advantage.

Cyriel Dessers bagged the opener on 18 minutes and that was followed by Luis Sinisterra’s effort to send the fans wild.

However, Ahmadou Dieng quickly pulled one back for Marseille in the 28th minute.

And the French giants were level by half-time as Gerson da Silva made it 2-2 in the 40th minute.

Dessers bagged his second a minute after the interval to edge Feyenoord in front again.

But that was it on the scoring front and the tie now looks nicely poised for the second leg.
