11.10PM, Quite literally no-brainer fun as lovable dunces Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) embark on a hysterical cross-country road trip to Aspen in a bid to return a briefcase to its owner, who left it at the airport terminal. Ridley Scott brings new life to the story of defiant leader Moses as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses II, setting 600,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its terrible cycle of deadly plagues. Christian Bale is Moses and the Pharaoh is played by Joel Edgerton. (2014/12) ***

AMERICAN MADE 9PM, FILM4

This highly entertaini­ng action comedy stars Tom Cruise as pilot flying illicit missions transporti­ng contraband for the CIA and drug cartels. Inspired by the life of Barry Seal, a former TWA pilot who flew for the CIA and became a drug smuggler for the Medellín cartel in the 80s. To avoid jail time, he became an informant for the DEA.
