GAFFER: AYE WE’RE READY

-

us to get the second European prize in the history of this club.

“We’re very determined to bring the trophy back to us.

“We respect the opponent, who have had an amazing run in Europe as well.

“It’s going to be an exciting final but a final is always nice when you win it. When you lose it you don’t like it.

“It’s a big game and it comes with pressure because you have the ability, the chance to win a major prize.

“But in any top sport you need to have a little bit of pressure to perform well.

“That’s what we have to do tomorrow. We’re here to win it.”

Rangers’ chances have been bolstered by the return to fitness of Kemar Roofe, who hasn’t played since the Scottish Cup semi-final win over Celtic on April 17.

The striker is available but van Bronckhorst faces a huge call on whether the Jamaican international starts.

The Rangers manager added: “Kemar is available. He trained for the first time with us yesterday, he had individual training before that and he will be training also tonight.

“So he will be in the squad for tomorrow. If I want to use him he’s ready.

“Of course it’s a boost for us. He got injured a couple of weeks ago and was having a good spell.

“I am happy that he’s back because he was working hard to be ready for the Leipzig game.

“He didn’t make it so we just extended it for him for the final.

“So he is there and he is also ready of course to play a part in tomorrow’s game.”

Only around 18,000 of the massive travelling support backing the Light Blues will have tickets for the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium but the Gers manager believes the supporters will provide the backing his team needs to deliver the trophy.

And the Dutchman joined a number of club legends in stressing the need for good behaviour in and around the city.

Those words have been heeded so far with fans enjoying a carnival atmosphere in the Andalusian capital.

Van Bronckhorst added: “We are not at Ibrox but in Seville. It’s different but still you will hear our fans a lot.

“Our performances can be good as well so I think we will be ready, play the way we always do and make sure we give everything we have to make sure we win.

“We have to enjoy this occasion. As managers, players, staff and fans inside and outside the stadium, it’s not often you get to reach a European final.

“It’s not just for Rangers, it’s also for Eintracht Frankfurt and we have to enjoy it and make sure we are not causing any problems.

“Let the game decide who wins this game.

“One half of the people will go home really happy and the other half will go home angry.

“But we should respect the whole city and all the people who have worked so hard to accommodate us.

“Enjoy it and don’t leave anything negative behind.”
