SNOOZE WON’T SLEEP

- BY GARRY OWEN

SNOOZE N YOU LOSE (3.55) can catch her rivals napping in the Listed EBF Eternal Stakes at Carlisle.

Karl Burke’s filly stayed upwardly mobile when routing Improvised in a similar event at Musselburgh. There is plenty more to come from this classy type who can follow up for her thriving connections.

TANGLED (2.25) can maintain Gemma Tutty’s winning streak in the Carlisle Bell Consolation. The sevenyear-old returned to form when narrowly beaten by the improving Grifter at Beverley.

The gelding is even better at this venue so he can take full advantage of an attractive mark.

MAKEEN (2.55) can kick off a profitable afternoon for Julie Camacho in the Carlisle Bell itself. The gelding recorded another career best when bolting up from Grifter over seven furlongs here. The fiveyear-old was staying on very strongly so he can defy a welldeserved 9lb hike up in trip.

The shrewd Yorkshire handler can also land the Cumberland Plate with SHAKE A LEG (3.25).

A good winner at Doncaster, the gelding improved again when chinning Baileys Derbyday at Ripon. That race is working out pretty well so this likeable type can make it three despite a 2lb penalty.

BUNGLEY (4.30) won’t slip up for in-form Tim Easterby in the competitive Longtown Handicap. The filly can gain compensation for her trying to live with the useful Emily Post over track and trip.

WINDSEEKER (3.15) can breeze to victory for Richard Hannon on a cracking card at Salisbury. The three-year-old ran another blinder when just held by the improving Golden Voice at Sandown.

Marcus Tregoning is starting to hit top form so AL AZHAR

(4.20) can lift the Bibury Cup.

The gelding looks nicely unexposed over 1m 4f after bolting up from Greatness Awaits at Newbury.

SUPER SUPERJACK (4.50) can extend Milton Harris’ terrific run in the staying handicap. The five-year-old was only denied a hat-trick by the hugely exciting Evaluation

at York recently. The gelding still lurks on an inviting mark so can regain the winning thread.
