Appeal after dog ‘stolen’ on loch isle
A DOG owner has launched an appeal to find her beloved Border Terrier who she believes was stolen from a hammock on an island in Loch Lomond.
Frances Curley, from Troon, was camping on Inchconnachan at the weekend when her twoand-a-half-year-old pet Skye disappeared.
The isle is uninhabited bar a troupe of wallabies.
Frances says she is certain her partially sighted dog was stolen from his hammock while she was making dinner on Sunday afternoon.
Skye was wearing a pinkand-white-striped collar with two tags, one reading “Fur ever yours”. Police have been contacted.
