Rise means a fall

I WILL not believe this 10 per cent pension rise until I see it. But just to let everyone understand, as a pensioner we were supposed to get eight per cent in April, only for the Tories to suspend the triple lock and leave us with three per cent.

However, the Chancellor then froze the tax allowances, meaning my combined work and state pension rise of about £12 turned into minus £2.

We’re actually getting less now than in 2021.

This is a sick, greedy Government.
