M-way smash leaves three in hospital

THREE people were rushed to hospital yesterday after a horror motorway crash.

Emergency crews raced to the scene involving a lorry and a car on the M90 near Friarton Bridge in Craigend, Perth, about 12pm. Three people from the car were rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but the lorry driver was unhurt.

The stretch of road was closed for hours after the collision.

A police spokesman said: “Officers remain at the scene.”
