PO workers in new strike
POST Office workers are to stage a third strike this year amid a pay dispute.
Members of the Communication Workers Union at more than 100 Crown Post Offices – the bigger branches – will walk out for one day on July 11.
The union said its members had rejected a three per cent pay offer and a £500 lump sum, which the union said was well below inflation.
CWU assistant secretary Andy Furey said: “There is more than enough money for a reasonable pay rise.”
