Slain actor Bradley left £450k fortune
TRAINSPOTTING actor Bradley Welsh left a £450,000 fortune after he was assassinated outside his Edinburgh flat, it has emerged.
Welsh, 48, was shot in the head by contract killer Sean Orman.
The hitman had been paid £10,000 by gangsters to carry out the shooting with a shotgun believed to have been made in the 1890s.
His victim, who starred in Danny Boyle’s 2017 Trainspotting sequel and ran a boxing gym, was killed while partner Emma Grant and young daughter were inside the flat.
Legal documents have now revealed he had a total estate in Scotland worth £448,293.
It is thought the bulk of estate was an insurance payout following his brutal slaying.
At the High Court in Edinburgh, Orman denied any wrongdoing but was convicted by jurors of the April 2019 killing after a 12-day trial.
He was sentenced to life with a minimum of 28 years by judge Lord Beckett. He was also found guilty of attempting to murder David McMillan, 50, the month before with a machete.
