Go Forth to top of bridge

VISITORS to the Forth Bridge are to get the chance to walk up the landmark.

Council chiefs have approved plans for the Forth Bridge Experience which will provide guided walks over it.

Groups of up to 15 people will be led out onto the bridge’s south cantilever, walking up to a viewing point at the top.

Network Rail Scotland director Alan Ross said: “It’s great to see our plans for the Forth Bridge Experience moving forward.”
