Dylan roars to Lions deal as Bakare not given one

LIVINGSTON are set to confirm the signing of Dylan Bahamboula today but will not offer trialist Ibrahim Bakare a deal. Bahamboula’s deal with Oldham – where he played 81 times in two seasons – is due to expire today and boss David Martindale hopes to play the midfielder in a friendly against Morton tomorrow. But defender Bakare fell “just a little bit short” as Martindale said: “He has definitely got something but he needs to get 50 or 60 games under his belt at a lower level.”

Martindale revealed it could be up to 12 weeks until defender Tom Parkes – out since December – is seen training after an op on his knee failed to stop swelling and inflammation.
