£270k Lambo seized from driver ‘who hadn’t insured it’
A LAMBORGHINI Aventador driver was pulled over for having no front number plate – before police found it also appeared to be uninsured.
Traffic officers spotted the £270,000 Italian supercar on the roads on Saturday. A computer check revealed the driver owned it but apparently failed to insure it.
They impounded the 217mph car and it was towed away on the back of a transporter in Milton Keynes.
A police spokesman said: “Police spotted this beautiful Lamborghini Aventador driving without a front plate.
“Inquiries showed the driver could not prove he had insurance. Therefore the vehicle was seized and the driver reported.” Police posted images of the car being towed away on their online account.
One driver commented: “That’s a double whammy. Good work team.
“Shocking they can afford the car but can’t be bothered to get the correct paperwork.”
