Keir’s in the clear

WHAT a shock – NOT – to discover Labour leader Keir Starmer did not break rules regarding the beer and a curry while on the campaign trail.

It was genuinely embarrassing to see people attempt to draw a false equivalence between the law-breaking in Downing Street and what happened in this instance.

The fact some people – who should have known better – tied themselves in knots trying to

convince the electorate that this was in the same realm as Johnson and the Tories’ behaviour will not be forgotten.

Thankfully, Starmer has been proven to have broken no rules.

That this needed a police investigation is, frankly, incredible.

Anyone with an ounce of sense knew they were two very separate scenarios that happened in very different circumstances. I’m sure it won’t be long until the usual suspects try to distract us with more nonsense.
