Kyle: We’re off to a flyer

KYLE TURNER admitted it was all about the win after firing Partick Thistle on the way to victory at Stenhousemuir.

Stenny’s Matty Yates pulled the hosts level only for Brian Graham to nab all three points with 15 minutes remaining.

Turner said: “It was all about winning, because it is tough coming to places like this. It was good to get a goal and get off the mark this early.”

Another positive for Ian McCall’s side was the return of stopper Darren Brownlie, a year after a knee injury.
