ALBION ROV .... 2 LIVINGSTON...3

JOSH MULLIN admits Livingston switched off against Albion Rovers and they need to sharpen up fast.

The Premiership side were cruising at 3-0 three minutes into the second half through goals from Scott Pittman, Mullin and Bruce Anderson.

But Ayrton Sonkur and Michael Paton bagged debut goals for the League Two side.

Mullin, above, said: “It looks a lot worse than it actually is – people say ‘you’re hanging on’ in the end.

“It’s just about trying to get the errors out of the way before we get into the higher league opposition or we’ll get punished even more.”

Livingston took the lead in five minutes when James Penrice crossed for Pittman to head in. Mullin then smashed in after Pittman’s shot was parried and Anderson swept home the third. Lewis Kidd’s free kick allowed Sonkur to score on 62 minutes, and James McGowan crossed for Paton to shoot home eight minutes later. Paton said: “We showed what we’re capable of.”
