Elena has a Grand plan

ELENA RYBAKINA admits she needs to learn how to enjoy being a Grand Slam winner.

The 23-year-old from Kazakhstan became ladies champion after a stunning 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 triumph over Tunisian Ons Jabeur.

But she said: “Well, for now, I can say that I’m not enjoying it that much! But maybe one day I’m going to be more relaxed, because there is so much more attention now.

“Everybody is trying to help me because it’s the first time (won a Grand Slam) and there is so much attention. It’s not easy for me, because I’m a calm person. I don’t really like to be in front of everybody.”
