Sunset has faded but cop series never dips

Radio host and former Saturdays star Una Healy, 40, on the shows she loves to watch – when children, Aoife, 10, and Tadhg, seven, aren’t in charge of the remote – and the one she can’t miss every summer

What are your favourite TV shows? On the rare occasion I get the TV to myself – with the kids being all over it most of the time – I love Selling Sunset. I became obsessed with the first series – the drama and the gossip are so addictive. But to be honest, the last series was a bit of a letdown. The gossip felt a bit outdated, like Chrishell dating Jason – we already knew. I’m also a big fan of Line Of Duty. That knocks me for six every series. And I’ve recently caught up with No Return, with Sheridan Smith. I love anything she appears in. Are you a binge watcher? Definitely not. I can’t sit down in the same place for too long and, even if I wanted to, the

kids wouldn’t let me. So any TV I manage to watch ends up being on a rapid one-off basis. What do the little ones normally put on? We’ve always got a Disney film on repeat – even if we’ve seen it a million times. At the moment, they’re loving Encanto. We can’t get the songs out of our heads, they’re so catchy. Are you more of a Netflix watcher or a Freeview person? I’m partial to a Netflix series but there can’t be too many episodes as I won’t get a chance to watch them all. I like to be surprised by what I’m watching. I just press play on whatever’s on and get involved, even if I end up watching some pretty unexpected shows. How about reality shows? I’ll watch Love Island every year, but other than that, I can’t keep up. There’s too many nowadays – Made In Chelsea, TOWIE, Real Housewives. I’ve dabbled but I can’t get into them. As a radio host, are you a big fan of podcasts as well as TV? Yes, I can’t get enough – they help me wind down. I’ve recently been listening to one called Sweet Bobby, which is blowing my mind. It’s a catfish type of story and very intriguing. I won’t give away any more than that.
