TONYISQUIC­K ONTHEDRAW FOR ANNAN

TEN-MAN Annan sealed Group F top spot with Tony Wallace’s leveller earning the 1-1 home draw with Ayr – and bonus point on penalties.

Fraser Bryden gave the Honest Men the lead before Annan’s Dom Docherty was sent off.

But Wallace scored a late penalty to secure progressio­n for Annan and send the game to penalties where Andy Murdoch, Paddy Reading and Marc McKenzie were the spot kick sinners as the Black and Golds got the 5-4 spot kick result.

Dundee made it three wins from three with a 2-1 win away at Queen’s Park.

The opener arrived after half an hour through Alex Jakubiak’s header.

Gary Bowyer’s men doubled their lead six minutes later when Cammy Kerr lashed home. The Spiders halved the deficit just after the break through Louis Longridge’s effort.

Cameron Harper scored a double to help Inverness maintain their perfect start with a 4-0 win at home to Albion Rovers.

The home side went ahead inside the opening two minutes when Billy McKay headed in, and were able to double their lead three minutes before half time when Cameron Harper fired in a free kick.

Caley extended their advantage just after half time through Wallace Duffy who found the net from a corner before Harper got his second and Inverness’ fourth by beating Jack Leighfield to a long ball and heading in.

Kelty picked up their first win of the season after edging out Cove 3-2.

John Potter’s men were two goals in front in 23 minutes through goals from Alfredo Agyeman and Robbie McNab but Fraser Fyvie’s header got Cove back into things.

Nathan Austin restored Kelty’s two-goal cushion, with Robbie Leitch pulling a second back for Cove.

Raith picked up a bonus point after beating Dumbarton 3-2 on penalties following their goalless draw.

East Fife came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at home to Buckie. A defensive mix up allowed the Highland League side to open the scoring through Scott Adams, who then doubled their lead.

The Fifers rallied and scored through Scott Shepherd, before Scott Mercer bagged a brace.

Stefan McCluskey atoned for a last minute penalty miss to score the winner in the shootout as Forfar beat Stranraer 5-3 on penalties after drawing 2-2.

Stranraer’s Sam Ellis scored an own goal before James Hilton replied for the Blues. Kyle Girvan then saw red and Forfar took advantage, with Josh Jack scoring.

The 10 men levelled five minutes from time from the penalty spot, with Scott McLean converting from 12 yards before McCluskey missed at the other end in the shoot-out.

Brian Graham effort earned Partick victory over Fraserbugr­h at Firhill.

Hay turned a cross into his own net just after the half hour and Graham sealed Jags’ win.
