Cleese: Lack of interest cost me dear
JOHN Cleese admits he is only still working because he’s been so careless with his cash down the years.
The Monty Python star is currently on a Q&A tour at the age of 82 and has performed almost 40 shows in a number of countries across the world.
Cleese – who has forked out £25milllion in three divorce settlements – says he regrets not taking an interest in money matters.
He said: “I never understand money and I don’t find it very interesting, which is a real disadvantage.
“I advise anybody who is a bit vague about it to become less vague because it has cost me quite a lot.
“You need to get interested in your own interest, even if you’re not that interested.”
