Ticket rip-off

-

WHY are ticketing companies given a licence to sell briefs when they cannot control the prices?

You wait for hours for a Springsteen £75 ticket, only to be told they’re all sold then, an hour later, they appear for £300, and £400. Kick them into touch.

★★★ I, LIKE reader Eileen McLellan, was immediately put on a waiting list for Bruce Springsteen tickets on Thursday. I waited online for 30 minutes to be informed the only tickets available started at £240. This was to be my 60th birthday celebration.

I am positive a performer like Springsteen, who has built a career honouring working class people, would be appalled by this outrageous profiteering.
