Too confident over net cons

MORE than half of adults think they will never by scammed on the internet, a survey has found.

But the study of 2000 Brits by Virgin Media O2 revealed 43 per cent of people know someone who has been conned online.

The firm’s Liam Rawsthorne said: “It’s worrying so many aren’t taking security seriously.”
