90% ‘need car for work’ in motor city

GLASWEGIANS are more reliant on their cars than residents of other UK cities.

A survey by car buying service ChooseMyCar.com found 90 per cent claim they need to use their vehicle for work.

Nottingham was the least affected city, with 59 per cent needing their car.

Spokesman Nick Zapolski said: “Many people do need to drive to survive and they’re forced to pay too-high fuel prices.”
