No big Lions in our circus

-

JASON HOLT still has a chuckle as Livingston continue to be labelled as the Premiership bully boys – especially when they have one of the smallest midfields in the league.

The former Rangers and Hearts playmaker claims that perception is well wide of the mark after insisting they are playing some great football.

The Lions currently sit behind fourth-place St Mirren – who they face in Paisley today – on goal difference with 12 points from seven games.

They have taken the scalps of the likes of Hearts, Hibs and Dundee United in the process and Holt is adamant they do not get the credit they deserve.

Holt, who is under 6ft tall just like team-mates Stephane Omegona and Scott Pittman, said: “People still say about us being a big, strong and physical side but it couldn’t be any further from the truth. None of us are giants.

“I feel that label is still put up about us but I disagree with that and you have to laugh about it.

“We might not change people’s views on that but that’s up to them.”
