Jack waits on contact over a deal
RYAN JACK says there’s been nothing but radio silence as he waits for Rangers to make contact over a new deal.
But the Ibrox midfielder hasn’t ruled an extended stay if he can tune into last year’s impressive form.
The 30-year-old came back with a bang last term as he shook off a 12-month injury lay-off to play a vital role in driving Gers to Seville.
“Nothing has been spoken about to myself or my agent,” he said. “Just now my focus is on getting a good run in the team.
“If I’m playing consistently well, whatever happens on the back of that, happens. I am feeling good. Hopefully I can put a good run of games together and start showing that in performances.”
Jack hopes a series of clear-the-air meetings after successive hammerings from Celtic, Ajax and Napoli can get Rangers back on track.
He said: “We’ve had meetings. Make no mistake, there is a lot for us to improve on individually and collectively.”
