No. The big Aussie was being honest. He’s focussed purely on what his side does. Keep on doing what they’re doing and it doesn’t matter who’s in charge across the city.
I don’t think he was meaning to be. It was his way of saying he is only interested in his team. Although if Rangers beat Celtic on January 2, Beale may well be thinking: ‘There’s yer dinner!’
He was being playful rather than disrespectful. It’s up to beale to earn Postecoglou’s respect by winning matches. Only then will he give the Celtic boss something to chew on.
