originally a 1980s TV series starring Edward Woodward, this big-screen reboot has Denzel Washington taking over the role of vigilante Robert mcCall, who wreaks righteous and violent vengeance on a bunch of Russian gangsters. (2014/18) ★★★
THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT 10PM, BBC THREE
Three film students vanish after travelling into an eerie maryland forest to shoot a documentary about the Blair Witch legend. They leave only their footage behind in this truly terrifying movie. (1999/15) ★★★
SUNDAY HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 5.10PM, ITV2
fire-breathing fun par excellence in one of the most entertaining CGi kids’ films of all time. Jay Baruchel voices a sweet-natured Viking who befriends an injured Night fury dragon and teaches it how to fly again. The aerial sequences are stunning. (2010/pG) ★★★★★
OBLIVION 9PM, 5STAR
Tom Cruise tops the bill of this cerebral sci-fi flick. He’s a drone repairman on a war-ravaged Earth who discovers a crashed spacecraft that makes him question everything he believes in. With andrea Riseborough and olga Kurylenko. (2013/12) ★★★
MEN IN BLACK: INTERNATIONAL 9PM, E4
men in Black has a makeover in this adaptation. agent m (Tessa Thompson), a probationary member of the miB, teams up with agent H (Chris Hemsworth) and uncovers a sinister plot that reveals a traitor in the organisation aiding an alien invasion. (2019/12) ★★★
MONDAY MAID IN MANHATTAN 6.55PM, FILM4
Jennifer lopez is a single mum working as a maid in manhattan who is mistaken for a hotel guest by a celebrity politician (Ralph fiennes). They have a magical night of romance but realise they are worlds apart when the truth emerges. (2002/ pG) ★★★

They were comedy gold in Twins but arnold schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito don’t quite reach the same heights here. arnie is a scientist

Undoubtedly one of the very best films of the 90s, Ed Norton is a sleep-deprived white collar worker recruited to an underground bare-knuckle boxing community by Brad pitt’s anarchic soap salesman. it gets better with every viewing. (1999/15) ★★★★

Tough government spy Dave Bautista teams up with a nine-year-old girl (Chloe Coleman) in this family comedy when the muscle man goes undercover in her mum’s apartment block. prepare for a violent opening scene. (2020/12) ★★★

Those heroes in a half-shell are back to
entertain a new generation in a fun film. This time, they must stop the dastardly Shredder with the help of Megan Fox’s fearless reporter. (2014/12) ★★★
