FAMILY’S TRIBUTES TO TRAGIC MUM SARA
Woman in dock over death in house
FAMILY and friends have told of their grief for a mum who died after she was found injured in a house.
Sara Irvine, 34, was discovered in Aberdeen at 2.30am on Wednesday and died in the city’s Royal Infirmary.
A 30-year-old woman has been charged in connection with her death and appeared in court yesterday.
Sara, who had a teenage son, has been described as having “lit up the room”.
Her sister Sophie posted a picture of them together and wrote: “You were the best sister in the world.
“We were so close and had so many memories.
“I’m lost, broken, I have no words. RIP till we see each other again.”
Pal Sueanna Stronach said: “She lit up a room that lass. Sophie should be proud to know her sister was a role model to us all. She shone bright and gave me encouragement even when I don’t think she knew how to encourage herself.”
Vicky Lelej added: “I’m going to remember my friend Sara Irvine laughing, dancing and the life and soul of the party. She adored her son. She was an allround loving, loyal person.
“She had the biggest heart and would give you her last just to help. I will forever miss her and the friend she was.”
Keith Pirie said: “Heartbreaking. Sara had a heart of gold. Can’t get my head round it. Thinking of everyone close to her also.”
Gemma Low wrote: “Rest in peace, my beautiful friend.”
Erica Cronin added: “Rest in peace Sara. Thoughts with your family.”
Forensics police officers coming and going on the street where Sara was found on Wednesday.
A large part of the surrounding area was also cordoned off as investigators probed her death.
A police spokeswoman said: “A 30-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a woman in Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where she died a short time later.”
Dionne Wilson, 30, appeared in court during a petition hearing at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
She made no plea to a charge of murder and was remanded in custody as the case was continued for further examination.
