Family in here demand thanks callous in here singer taryi who killed her ex stays in jail

A KILLER who lured the father of her unborn child to his death continued making sandwiches at a cafe when questioned about the murder, a TV documentary reveals.

Detectives who investigated Tasmin Glass said they were stunned by her demeanour when she was approached about the death of ex Steven Donaldson.

The aspiring singer and actress was sentenced to 10 years in 2019 after being convicted of culpable homicide for her role in the “savage and depraved” murder near Kirriemuir, Angus, the previous year.

Glass, who was 20, was found to have instigated and planned the attack on the 27-year-old oil worker, while her co-accused and new partner Steven Dickie, and Callum Davidson were convicted of murder.

She is due to be considered for parole and could be released as early as next month.

Now a Channel 4 documentary called Murder Case: The Digital Detectives has revealed how Glass was “emotionless” throughout the probe into Steven’s death.

Police Scotland Detective Constable Nicola Annan told how she went to a cafe in Kirriemuir where Glass worked after Steven’s body was discovered.

She said: “She continued to make up sandwich fillers and spread rolls and have general chit-chat. Bearing in mind this is her boyfriend who had been brutally murdered and she is standing there mixing up her tuna and onion.”

The programme also showed recordings of Glass’s police interviews. DC David Budd said: “If you listen to the community she led a normal life but that’s far from how I’d describe her.”

Steven, from Arbroath, was subjected to “extreme violence”.

The assailants armed themselves with a baseball bat, knife and a cleaver or axe before overpowering Steven at a playpark where he had gone to meet Glass.

The victim was then driven to Kinnordy Loch nature reserve car park in his own white BMW where he was killed. His attackers then set fire to his car.

During the trial in 2019, the court heard Glass had written off a car he had bought her and owed him money.

Dickie killed himself at Perth Prison in 2019 after being jailed for a minimum of 23 years.

Glass is eligible for release after serving half her sentence and Steven’s family have written to the Parole Board to demand she remain behind bars.

The episode of Murder Case: The Digital Detectives will be on Channel 4 on Monday at 9pm.
