RANTING TOWIE BABE VOWS: I’LL CALM DOWN

-

MENTAL Megan could be up for the chop.

Short-tempered reality babe Megan McKenna has built a successful TV career blowing her top on screen.

But the TOWIE star is planning on exorcising her ranting alter-ego with anger management classes.

Fiery Megan sees red again on tonight’s episode during a big bust-up between her and boyfriend Pete Wicks and s***-stirring pal Mike Hassini.

But chatting to me yesterday in my WIRED exclusive Megan said: “I’m going to have anger management classes. I’ve had meetings about it so just need to do it.

“I definitely need some sort of coping mechanism. I will be getting help because I can’t do it on my own.” Megan and her Jekyll and Hyde personality have produced countless TV Gold moments on Ex On The Beach, Celeb Big Brother and TOWIE. But while viewers can’t get enough of the pottymouthed stunner, Megan told me she’s often left cringing by her outbursts. She said: “When I really lose it I can’t control myself at all. I get red mist and quickly turn into the devil and then don’t remember anything I’ve said. I watch it back cringing and honestly can’t remember any of it. “I actually think I’m in the right most of the time but the problem is I often lose the argument because I go mental.” Since joining TOWIE earlier this year Megan has become one of the ITVBe show’s most popular cast members.

But her fights with Chloe Lewis, Lydia Bright and co have left her in tears, including in Palma where this series’ first episode was filmed.

She added: “I love doing reality but this is so different. You do get anxiety. I know that’s what you sign up for but it has been harder than I thought.

“You would think the other shows would be more intense but this is another level. This really affects your friendships and your state of mind.

“I have this constant worrying feeling in my stomach. It’s horrible. I started suffering from bad anxiety.

“I cried the majority of my time in Palma. It’s been really upsetting.”

TOWIE continues tonight at 10pm on ITVBe.
