Kerry in blast at George ‘haters’

-

ED GLEAVE KERRY Katona feared fans would turn on her when she reunited with hubby George Kay.

The Atomic Kitten star, 36, rekindled her romance with the ex-rugby ace, also 36, this summer, just months after splitting over a late-night bust-up at their home.

Furious Kerry has hit back at her critics and defended her decision to go back to him.

She said: “I don’t want my marriage to be over. I want to be able to work through it and not be judged for not giving up on somebody that I love. “But then I feel like if I said that out loud to people they’ll say, ‘Are you stupid?’ and I’ll get a backlash off my fans.

“But it’s my marriage. I feel like I’m living my life by everybody else’s opinions, by what they want me to be or what they want me to do. And that’s what really hurts.

“I really want my marriage to work. I don’t want to be bringing my kids up on my own. George is a brilliant dad.”

Kerry has faced numerous problems over the years. In the past she has suffered from mental illness, drug addiction and has had two divorces.

The mum-of-five fears she may be cursed.

Speaking on Channel 5 show In Therapy: Kerry Katona, she said: “I feel like the drama constantly keeps following me and I just think, ‘Am I creating this drama? Am I attracting this drama? Is it my fault? Am I cursed?’.

“My life has been a car crash and it’s been so well documented, I do feel I’m not allowed to get upset over my life publicly. “I’d give anything to have a normal life – a husband, kids, go to work, come home but have no drama at home.”

In Therapy: Kerry Katona is on Thursday at 10pm.
